The Tasmanian Chinese Arts and Communication Society (TCACS) showcases a wide variety of Chinese culture through instrumental presentations and traditional dance. Portraying over 56 different Chinese ethnic groups, the performances incorporate traditional Chinese instruments, such as the guzheng and the erhu.

The Performance Group was formed in Tasmania in 2013 with 15 permanent members and are frequently augmented by members from the Chinese community. The diverse range of ages within the group provides a strong sense of belonging, as leaders involve younger members through their teachings and a shared understanding that individual musical talents will be embraced and encouraged.

The Performance Group has represented the Chinese community at numerous events, including the Lunar Festival. The dazzling performances offer a unique insight into traditional Chinese culture.Request performer
